Negril – on the west coast has a long white sand beach – the best in Jamaica – and reef with cool formations. Our favorite. Read more

Kingston – capital city not known for its touristic attractions. But if you are in Kingston, diving is surprisingly good and one can also do all the locations below as a day trip from Kingston (not Negril, it’s far). Read more.

Ocho Rios – a bit more than an hour drive from Kingston, a major tourist area, with some diving and a good base to explore more of the northern coast. Read more.

Port Antonio – in the north-east of Jamaica has a marine sanctuary with improving marine life and beautiful coves, beaches and waterfalls on top side. Read more

Runaway bay – small town on the north coast between Ocho Rios and Montego bay with some wrecks, canyon and lots of reef. Reed more

Rio Bueno – a bay on northern coast close to Runaway Bay is known for its impressive wall and elkhorn corals. Read More
